Saint Peter's Church is a blessed community of Faith grounded in the power of God's transforming love, where Jesus Christ welcomes all to abundant life. Empowered by the Holy Spirit, we follow Him in prayer and praise, study and service.
Week of June 3, 2018

In your daily devotions this week pray for the Anglican Church of Melanesia; the members and ministry of the Clergy Continuing Education and Formation Committee; Frank Castellon, Carolsue Cumings, James Gowland, Karen Jaenke, Lewis McCrum, and Richard Wisniewski, deacons of our diocese; Peter Cornell, Archdeacon of our diocese; and Henry Atkins, Ryan Boyce, David Snyder, Patrick Close, and Terrence O'Connor, priests of our diocese.

The Flowers on the Altar are given to the greater glory of God and in loving memory of Hugh and Ethel Montgomery, grandparents of Derry Buzby; and Jim Montgomery, uncle of Derry Buzby; and Christian and Robert Seaman, son and husband of Gisela Seaman.

June food drive - Suggested donations for June include beef stew, ravioli, chili, tuna and other canned meat and vegetables. As always, other items are also welcome. Thank you very much for your continued support of our food drive for the people served by the Christian Caring Center.

ShopRite & Acme Cards are available following all services this weekend and following the Saturday, 5pm and Sunday, 7:45am services next weekend. Sales at all services will resume the weekend of June 16 and 17. Thank you for your continued support of our students at Redemption School, Haiti.

Your Vestry presently is focused on improving and fixing the LIGHTING at St. Peter's both INSIDE and OUTSIDE our buildings. Please become part of the team to beautify and improve our facilities!
Our Goal is to raise $12,500 for these projects. WE NEED YOU TO HELP LIGHT THE WAY! Make checks payable to St. Peter's. Any questions, contact John Colaianni.

Scrapbook pages for Fr. Don and Lynn's memory book are due by June 10th. Any late pages may or may not make it into the book. Scrapbook pages may be dropped off in the Narthex (in the brown basket on the round table) or to the church office. Blank 12 X 12 scrapbook paper is still available on the table in the Narthex.
